Medical Assistant - Pediatrics for Swedish Medical Group (1 FTE, Days) in Edmonds, WA.

$5,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Swedish Medical Group that begin on your first day of employment.

The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • 6 months Healthcare experience
  • 6 monthsMedical Assistant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam
  • National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire

About the Team

Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care.
