STAPLOE PHARMACY, SOHAM
We have a part-time/weekend assistant position available within our busy community pharmacy.
As Pharmacy Assistant you will play a key part in our team to help delivery excellent patient care. We are looking for somebody, who is really hard working, personable and flexible who is keen to develop and improve customer care.
As an organised and customer focused assistant, you’ll build relationships with customers from all walks of life and help to meet their unique healthcare needs. You will have the opportunity to complete our fully funded pharmacy qualifications and have the chance to develop your career in Pharmacy.
Reporting directly to the Pharmacy Manager, your support is vital to the pharmacist and dispensing team in the provision of advanced and enhanced services.
As a Assistant, you will be required to:
- Ensure patients receive a friendly, attentive service.
- Perform a number of admin functions, including answering the telephone, filing and using the cash register.
- Assist with the day to day running of the dispensary.
- Ordering and checking of received goods.
- Cleaning and expiry date checking
- Comply with legal and professional requirements
- Be in regular communication with healthcare professionals.
- Support the delivery of professional services.

Salary will be dependent upon experience

As above. To be discussed on application and age dependant due to.
Training
- NPA NVQ Level 2 Dispensing course will be offered as part of on the job training.
Candidate requirements:
- Retail or care experience is an advantage
- Be a team player.
- Have a can do attitude in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills.
- Will be organised and motivated.
- Compassionate and caring
- We may consider a young person for the role
