Job Description
  • Serves as a scribe in a fast-paced environment. Prepares notes for one of our Providers in eDerm (our EMR) via an iPad.
  • Patient call backs including test results, prescription refills and questions regarding care
  • Facilitates outside patient referrals, medication prior authorizations and medication refills as specified Providers as needed.
  • Medical Assistant assisting with covering in our Sanford, Lillington and Pittsboro offices.
  • Cross trained to assist front office duties as needed. This includes registration, collection of co-pays & payments, scheduling of appointments and patient reminder calls.

  • Teamwork: Works effectively with others to accomplish objectives and goals. Always offers assistance to others in need throughout the office.
  • Goal Oriented: Appropriately optimistic and inspiring, influencing others to act on their own behalf or for the broader good of the group.
  • Age and Cultural Specific Care: Able to adjust instruction education to meet the patient's age and cultural background.

Job Type:

  • Full-time: Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm, Fridays 8am – 12pm, 8am – 5pm twice a month.

Experience:

    • Minimum of 1 to 2 years in the service industry

Education:

    • High School or Associate Degree preferred
