Job description
We currently have vacancies for two full time Senior Pharmacy Assistants within our Dispensary in Kennington, Oxford.
We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to support our Pharmacy team in the local delivery of high quality Pharmacy services to patients within Oxford Health Foundation trust.
Please note that this role/JD is subject to evaluation.
You will have a variety of duties within the department, involving the supply of stock drugs to wards and departments within the Trust across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Wiltshire.
As part of a team you will perform tasks such as picking ward stock orders ensuring they reach the wards in a timely manner, booking in deliveries from wholesalers and processing returns
You will also be involved in the labelling and dispensing of medication using the Pharmacy system Ascribe
An NVQ level 2 in pharmacy would be desirable and experience of working in a pharmaceutical related or hospital environment would be an advantage however full training will be provided in the department.
