Job Description Summary:
- Provides administrative support and basic level clinical support to physician practices to ensure the delivery of quality healthcare services.
- This role does not function as an MA but may be required to perform basic, non-invasive rooming and VS skills if needed.
- Attends AMA training to gain clinical experience before placement into ambulatory care site
Minimum Qualifications:
High School or GED (Required)SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
- Completion of School of Administrative Medical Assisting or Medical Secretary training
- 1+ years as Medical Secretary
- 1+ years as Administrative Medical Assistant
- 1+ years as both Inpatient Unit Clerk/PSA
