Job description
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team of pharmacy assistants in our main pharmacy stores.
You will be part of a busy team who deliver a high standard of service to the wards which includes stock medication and replenishment of fluids to ensure that there is sufficient stock available to maintain patient care.
You will also be part of our stores team to ensure that all external deliveries are received correctly and stored appropriately within our modern stores area including our robot.
You will also help deliver medication to wards and departments, check and request stock requirements and update stock lists.
Some computer experience would be an advantage however you will be
trained to use our Pharmacy computer system and automated stock cabinets.
The role does involve heavy lifting due to large orders being delivered to the Pharmacy stores and when delivering to the wards and departments.
You should enjoy working in a team but must also be capable of working on your own at times. You must also be accurate, numerate, neat and organised with good communication skills.
Training will be provided to achieve NVQ level 2 in pharmacy services
