This is a fantastic opportunity to earn whilst you learn as a Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprentice. This is a stepping stone leading towards a rewarding pharmacy career.
Prior pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential as all training will be provided on the job.
You will need to hold GCSE certificates in English & Maths. To complete the Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship you will undertake a Level 2 Certificate in Pharmacy Service Skills, via blended learning. Study time and off the job training will be provided at work. You must meet the following criteria to qualify for an apprenticeship: be aged 16+ at the time of enrolment be a UK or European Economic Area (EEA), or have lived in the UK or EEA for the past three consecutive years not already be in full-time education at the point of enrolment not already hold a qualification at the same level or above in the same area that you wish to study.
The course is provided via distance learning and covers the skills and knowledge regarding legal aspects and procedures within the pharmacy environment. This programme meets the GPhC minimum training requirements for dispensing assistants / pharmacy assistants. Previous applicants need not apply.
