Overview
As a Medical Assistant/Receptionist, you will have direct patient interaction every day. You will communicate with patients to help in registration and investigate the reason for the visit. You will have a direct impact on the patient’s visit by providing amazing customer love. To thrive in this role, you must have experience in medical terminology and have a positive outlook and great customer service.
What You’ll Do Every Day
- Determine the patient’s reason for the visit
- Take vitals and give injections
- Assist the Nurse Practitioner as requested
- Record information in the EMR
- Assist patients with electronic registration for their visit
- Communicate with patients over the phone
- Assist with administrative paperwork like referrals and medical information requests
