Job description
Holywell Nursing Home is located in the beautiful village of Brent knoll, Somerset. We can accommodate up to 28 residents (Over 65) who have various needs from Dementia to Nursing. Holywell is a small home, with a very homely atmosphere and is currently under going changes following the Covid period. We have an awesome small team, who all work well together and are lead on a daily basis by our fantastic nurses. Our residents are all amazing and have great personalities of their own. Many residents spend time together in our recently decorated lounge area.
We are now looking for an enthusiastic person to join our healthcare assistant team, to work 24hrs per week on a rota basis, which includes working one day every other weekend. Shifts are 7am till 7pm (12hrs) with the opportunity to pick up overtime, as and when required. Due to the location of Holywell, we do pay lunch breaks to help meet the cost of getting here.
Job competencies required,
Must have care certificate, or relevant experience of working in a busy care/nursing home.
Must know and understand manual handling procedures.
Be strength based in your practice, person centred and be able to think outside the box.
Be able to think on your feet and make decisions under the guidance of our senior leadership team.
Have a great personality and want to be part of an awesome team, who look after our wonderful residents.
