Job description
Office in Altamonte Springs is seeking to fill position with split duties- Chiropractic assistant position and Functional Medicine medical assistant position. Winning applicant must have experience and skill at venipuncture and an interest natural healthcare and a healthy lifestyle. Must be able to multitask in this role.

Duties:
- Ability to explain the benefits of chiropractic and functional medicine on phone and in person
- Check and record patient vitals (BP, pulse, height and weight)
- EMR documentation
- Application of electric muscle stimulation & heat/ice
- Application of traction
- Removal of acupuncture needles
- Ability to perform phlebotomy/blood draws and prepare sample (spinning, boxing up) for pick-up by outside lab
- Answering multiple phone lines, ability to schedule appointments
- Responsible for keeping inventory
- Assist with general office cleaning
- Provide overall support for Providers, screen phone calls
- Ability to cover front desk duties, including: Checking patients in / out accurately in a professional manner; Filing, copying, printing medical records; Assist in patient follow up for treatment and recurring care
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant (MA) or Phlebotomist.
- Must be available for early mornings (6:15 am)
- Must understand and love chiropractic and functional/natural medicine!
- Must have a strong ethics and morals
- Ability to problem solve
- Must be committed to our office
- Strong computer skills
- Prefer someone with Chiropractic/ Functional Medicine experience
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- An interest in natural/ alternative healthcare
