Job description
We are looking to expand our friendly team of receptionist/administrators within our busy 10,000 patient practice. Alongside traditional GP services we offer a range of community services and activities so your job will be busy and varied. You will be based mainly at our newly refurbished premises just off the Kings Road, Chelsea SW3 but may at times be required to work in our Earl’s Court practice.
The role will be split between reception duties and administrative tasks including:
- Meeting and greeting patients
- Answering telephone calls from patients
- Processing repeat prescription requests
- Dealing with queries from patients and other service providers, ie hospitals and pharmacies
- Processing online requests from patients (Patchs)
- Other administrative duties associated with patient care
Essential Criteria:
The successful candidate will have:
- Confident telephone manner
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Excellent IT Skills
- Extensive customer service experience
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- A positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
General practice experience is preferred but all candidates meeting the essential criteria above will be considered.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent (part-time will be considered for the right applicants)
Salary: From £11.00-£11.95 per hour depending on experience
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
