Job Overview:
Peach Skin & Laser is looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Designer to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Social Media Designer will be responsible for the creation of engaging social media content, such as Instagram and Facebook postings and video content creation used for reels and other content elements. If you have a flair for graphic design, a passion for social media, and a knack for making content go viral, we would love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design engaging, creative, and innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote our brand-focused messages.
- Create and maintain a social media content calendar, scheduling and publishing content across multiple platforms.
- Use unique and creative approaches to build pages, applications, and posts that attract and engage our target audience.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Director to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
- Analyze social media performance metrics, and optimize strategy based on these results.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field is a plus but not necessary.
- Proven experience creating high-quality visual content for social media.
- Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator Skills
- Solid knowledge of design and visual principles.
- Demonstrated experience with digital marketing competencies, and strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective features.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills with a strategic and creative mindset.
