Position Description
Advertised Job Summary
Responsible for media production and support of executive administration events, educational courses, programs, and other digitally delivered media for the Office of Legal Education at the National Advocacy Center. Develops and refines animations, motion and still graphics, multimedia, audio, and video content for use with residential and distance learning formats. Proficiency with animation, motion graphic and video editing tools within Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically After Effects, Premiere, Animate, Character Animator, Illustrator and Photoshop). Creation and editing of presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint. Exposure to eLearning software such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Storyline or similar. Responsible for setting up and managing still photography as well as digital imaging using photographic editing software. Must have a comprehensive understanding of all phases of pre-production, production and post-production.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Proven experience creating animations, titles, lower thirds, and other motion graphic elements with reels/portfolio to showcase examples. Ability to create and prepare basic illustrations, including characters, for animation. Ability to coordinate, design and layout graphics for video and still images. Ability to conceptualize visuals based on requirements. Must be able to prepare rough concepts and present ideas. Understanding of editing approach and logistics. Collaborate with team members to design, and implement project ideas and deliverables. Working knowledge of photographic composition and lighting. Proficiency in Adobe Suite – particularly After Effects, Animator, Character Animator, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premier. Experience using 3D modeling or animation software.
