Job Description
The Digital Media Producer produces content for the health system, including promotional and instructional videos; videos for broadcast, web, and social; radio; digital signage; and more. The Digital Media Producer also assists in producing live and virtual events for the health system.
Working both collaboratively with the digital media team and at times, independently, the Digital Media Producer creates videos from strategy and development to production and final delivery. Working with internal and external partners on development plans, product specifications, and delivery schedules, the Digital Media Producer is responsible for producing digital media projects on time and on budget that meet or exceed marketing objectives.
The candidate must be proficient in:
- Strategy, concepting, and problem-solving: experience collaborating with Marketing Directors and strategists to creatively communicate specific information through storytelling
- Pre-production: exemplary organization and communication skills; proficient in organizing all facets of simple and complex video shoots, including orchestrating schedules, timelines, contractors, employees, and equipment
- Production: proficient as camera operator and associated technical knowledge; experience with lighting equipment and lighting production sets, in-studio and on-location; works well independently on smaller shoots, facilitating all facets of production; and works well collaboratively with team on large productions
- Storytelling: Natural ability and interest to tell stories through multiple viewpoints, sorting through footage and creating graphics to piece together a cohesive story, meeting the goal of the project
- Post-production: all aspects of post-production, including animation (3D animation/rendering a plus), color correction, sound mixing, editing, processing feedback, and ultimately, exporting for a variety of platforms; utilize and adhere to brand standards
The candidate must have:
- 5-years’ experience working in video production in a professional setting
- Excellent communication skills; effective collaborator in creative environment
- Experience in all aspects of video production
The candidate must be proficient with:
- Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator; Microsoft Office 365; live-streaming software
- Sony and Canon camera systems, Tungsten and LED lighting, grip, sound recording packages
Experience with the following is a plus:
- Virtual and/or live event production experience
- Proficiency with Maxon Cinema 4D, Element 3D, Trapcode Plugin Suites, Wirecast
