While supporting all day-to-day media responsibilities for the region, the role will also be involved in a pilot on how to drive synergies across the region, leading the way to a future Media org design for the whole region. Winning in Media, based on excellently supporting our Birds Eye, Aunt Bessie’s and Goodfella’s brands, is a key building block for Nomad Foods to deliver against our ambitious growth agenda.
- Support Nomad Global Best Practice and key initiatives
- Support a Regional Media Centre of Excellence
- Help share strategies, plans and ideas/ initiatives across the region (e.g. joint campaigns, comms assets sharing, etc.)
- Support proper knowledge management as well as a strong learning-/ capability building agenda. Support brand teams in the development of best creative to support media plans
- Manage all regional approvals and reporting in accordance with Nomad Global Operating Guidelines (Media Costs, Tools, Tech & Data, Agency management)
PLEASE NOTE - Due to an internal secondment, this role will be offered as a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
- Delivery of the Media strategy and agenda for the region
- Support the development of a RACI and Processes in collaboration with markets in the Region and Global HQ. (Work with Head of Media to share insight to Central HQ of how best to optimize/ evolve our single market org design to a regional model).
- Support for Media planning and buying (media spending) in close collaboration with the Marketing Directors, focusing on maximizing effectiveness and efficiency in line with media guidelines
- Facilitate that best in class creative is delivered on time within in accordance to the media plan
- Support for all markets in the Region’s Media day-to-day business (e.g. realization of campaigns, optimization, tracking/ monitoring, incident management, etc.)
- Foster a close collaboration with all internal and external key stakeholders, such as the Nomad Foods Central Marketing Team, Insights, PR teams, media agency, other digital/ social agency partners, media networks/ broadcasters, Tik Tok, ITV, Google/ Facebook, etc.
- Support the Head of Media to use insight and evidence-based guidance to create and manage regional / local annual planning briefs
- Support key Nomad Global Media projects and contribute to others (eg. Innovation, Test and Learn, Tools, Training
- Support the development of e-commerce and search strategy, helping to improve share of search, traffic and e-commerce conversion.
- Help deliver the digital media agenda addressing the changing consumer media behaviour (i.e. right channel mix, emerging trends, personalization at scale, etc.)
- Help deliver synergies and an intensified collaboration across the region (e.g. joint campaigns/ test & learns, seamless share & re-apply of best practices)
- Support for our Media learning agenda as well as internal capability building Functional and remote leadership of one team member
- Manage the regional media monthly reporting, auditing and tracking of performance (cost and quality)
- Support the Head of Media to communicate with the Agency on in market / regional annual budgets and any in year budget changes in line with Global Media
- Execute the strategic plans (Brands, target audiences, Content, media mix, timings inc. SEO & Retail) aligned with Global Media Director
- Support the management of media budgets and spend reporting on RMS, buying performance / key learnings, data provision, ROI reporting, digital reporting including tech and data (central fee provision)
- Assist the Head of Media to work with the Global Media Director / Marketing Operations Director to review and support agency tools, tech, scope and fee build
- Work with the media agency to update / develop the media planning guidelines (along with Global Media and Regional Media Directors)
- 5+ years of Media planning and buying experience (at the advertiser, an agency, or consultancy).
- 3+ years of European Media management with experience
- FMCG/ CPG experience
- Experience of European Media management within region.
- An understanding and passion for all Media – planning, buying, technology & data including e-commerce strategies.
- Experience working effectively with Media, SEO, e-commerce, and performance marketing agencies.
- Financial acumen, able to manage annual plans and in year commercial planning
- Core stakeholder management, able to liaise with and influence key stakeholders
- A track record of success in a dynamic and fast -paced professional organisation.
- Experience of European Media management within region.
