Social Media Coordinator

Job Summary:
Dynamite is looking for an organized and driven Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Social Media and Influencer. The Social Media Coordinator will act as the frontline voice of the brand by interacting with customers in real time across all social channels. Responsibilities:
Social media marketing:
- Supports the execution of the social media strategy for the Dynamite brand;
- Creates content for the social media channels through photography and videography;
- Plan content, copywrite and schedule content into social channels;
- Performs weekly social media reporting and performance monitoring.
Coordinates with cross-functional teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in brand voice:
- Collaborates with Marketing teams on campaigns, promotions and contests;
- Partners with the Product team on key products and trends;
- Collaborate with Creative team on graphic design and photography requests;
- Supports the E-commerce team (product, promotions, e-newsletters).
Customer relations:
- Community management and responsible for customer support on social media.
Analytics & Research:
- Conducts industry, content and social media trend research;
- Compiles and summarizes social media reports;
- Uses Google Analytics and other social measurement tools to provide reports on metrics.
Objectives:
- Develop brand awareness for the Dynamite brand
- Increase social media fan base
- Drive in-store and E-commerce traffic
- Encourage product adoption
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related field;
- Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in social media marketing, preferably in a retail environment with a proven track record of delivering compelling content and a significant increase in traffic and sales;
- Bilingual: excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English;
- Experience in fashion would be an asset;
- Excellent knowledge of social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter);
- Experience in social marketing principles and strategies;
- Editing skills for Instagram Reels and TikTok videos is preferred;
- Experience in content writing (i.e., social media captions, blog, media outlets, etc.);
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is an asset;
- Knowledge of Google Analytics is an asset;
- Experience or a passion for photography & videography (iPhone, film, digital) is an asset.
