Welcome to the Media & Communications team, where the fun never stops and the creativity never ends! As the engine at the heart of the team, you'll be responsible for delivering media excellence and showcasing our clients in all their glory.
Here's a breakdown of what you'll be doing:
Job Functions:
- Deliver high-quality earned results and meet/exceed client KPIs
- Build strong personal media, influencer, and content creator contacts and continually grow your network in the food, drink, and travel industries
- Create compelling, creative press assets for clients that deliver relevant stories and messaging that resonate with media
- Distribute press materials, pitch stories, and sell them to media outlets
- Work closely with the Client Team to ensure all relevant client information is shared and manage their expectations
- Give solid media and communications advice to clients and the Client Team
Responsibilities:
- Proactively source opportunities for clients, their stories, and their spokespeople
- Shape plans specifically around creative ideas and media, ensuring ideas are robust for media cut-through
- Review client coverage regularly to spot potential gaps in media support and address accordingly
- Create media briefing documents for clients and brief spokespeople for interviews
- Support the Client Team on crises and issues, with Q&A and statement drafting
- Provide media intel and creative media input for new business proposals
- Draft entries for PR/brand/marketing industry awards for clients
- Manage internal media lists and databases to keep them up to date
- Deliver high-quality media and influencer attendance at new openings and events
- Monitor, measure, and share coverage in a timely and compelling manner that sells the result to clients
- Fulfill reactive journalist requests promptly to establish H&C as responsive, reliable go-tos for media
- Participate in AA/Client brainstorms and bring media trends and creative suggestions for media and influencer angles to the table

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
