As part of the John Crane DISCOVER Graduate Engineer Program, you will have a unique opportunity to launch your careers following a comprehensive 2-year program with 3 development phases. Each development phase includes different forms of technical or soft skills training combined with international field reliability engineering exposure. As operational needs permit, you may have the opportunity to participate in short-term assignments at one or more of our sites focusing on design/application, manufacturing, research and development, and possibly others.
Technical training and field experience are key components of the DISCOVER program that will help you develop the knowledge and skills needed to solve a variety of complex engineering challenges. As you advance through the program, you will learn how dynamic operating conditions influence our technology's performance and reliability. This learning will help you build the confidence needed to interpret forensic evidence and provide technical sound recommendations to customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
This trainee programme is designed for 2 years
This role is based in John Crane Slough, we would prefer to go to US for the second year
You would be cooperating with R&D team and after finishing trainee program there is a permanent position in the team.
Each phase of the trainee program includes a combination of technical and soft skills training with an international focus
We will teach you to be a pro in the field of mechanical seals
Trainee will have two mentors – from the home country and American supervisor of the trainee program

The Individual
- Completed studies - December 2022/June 2023 – Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
- Be open to challenges and live abroad for one year
- Knowledge of English language at a communicative level
- Start in the program in July 2023
