Job description
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data related to plumbing systems and projects
- Conduct research to gather information on plumbing codes, regulations, and industry best practices
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop plumbing system designs
- Create schematics and technical drawings for plumbing systems
- Perform calculations and simulations to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of plumbing designs
- Evaluate existing plumbing systems for potential improvements or upgrades
- Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams during the installation and testing of plumbing systems
- Conduct laboratory tests to validate the performance of plumbing materials and components
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of plumbing systems
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating schematics and technical drawings
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
