Job description
Due to continued growth of LCR Engineering Ltd, based in Hull. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Solid works design engineer to head up our design department within LCR and assist across the groups connected businesses when needed.
LCR Engineering Ltd is a Fabrication specialist in Nuclear, Structural Steel, MOD, Offshore, Sub- Sea, Civil Marine, Industrial loader attachments, Materials Handling and Execution level III works. We Lead in manufacturing of bespoke mobile plant machinery attachments for sectors including agriculture, recycling, construction, demolition and military.
LCR is ISO 9001:2015 accredited and maintains a Factory Production Control system that is certified in accordance with EN1090-1:2009+A1:2001 up to and including Execution level III works.
The role will include:
- Producing high quality design drawings, schedules and diagrams using Solid Works to suit the business needs and customer’s requirements.
- Work alongside our production and sales teams to ensure that the drawings produced are delivered to what is required for the team.
- Work’s will vary from project work, with multiple products, to single product designs, also designing and developing loader & excavator attachments/ buckets.
- You will be managing the existing database of products and ensure all models are stored and accessible.
- You may be required from time to time to conduct site visits with our service teams or sales team to fully understand the needs of our clients and also the environment the product will be manufactured for.
You will need:
- Excellent Solid Works, 3D CAD skills.
- Experience in design of loader attachments, excavator buckets and excavator attachments.
- Preferably hold an HND, degree or relevant Engineering manufacturing background.
- You will ideally have a minimum of 3 year’s experience in an engineering environment.
- You will be able to deliver a high standard of design drawings under critical time restraints.
- Show good knowledge of engineering materials
- To be able to work alone and also as a team
Salary:
£40,000.00 negotiable depending on skill level and experience
40 hours per week.
Need to be flexible to suit business needs
