Job description
An exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join the Kier Mechanical & Electrical business working on a key project in Oxfordshire.
Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) are an internal MEP self-delivery business within the Kier group, supporting the internal regional businesses across the UK on complex and challenging projects. The business has a full design, construction and commissioning capability.
Location: Oxfordshire
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Responsibilities
The role will report to the MEP Project Manager and have the full responsibility for the MEP delivery of the mechanical services supported by and electrical biased colleague with further responsibilities for management and control of off-site manufacture production, logistics and installation.
Your day to day will include:
- Safe management and control of the services installation under your responsibility
- Management of design information and change control
- Co-ordination of the installation and associated supply chain recourse
Who are we looking for?
- Relevant industry qualifications: Trade/HNC/HND
- Demonstrated experience in management and control of multiple Sub-contractor controlling performance, safety, quality, productivity and programme
- High level of competence in digital construction methods BIM & Field tools
