Job Title
Water Hygiene Plumbing Engineer
Department/Location
Plumbing Department
Hours of Work
40 hours, Monday to Friday including occasional weekend work.
Specific Day to Day Duties:
● General plumbing duties such as dead-end removal
● TMV replacement
● CWST remedials,
● Water Heater installations,
● Expansion vessel replacement and similar
● Install all aspects of plumbing from new and adaptions on existing systems
● Reactive Plumbing Work
● Removal of Flexible Hoses and Replace to Rigid Pipework
● Minor Heating System Works
● Vented and Unvented Conversions
● Surveying Projects
● You will need to be flexible in order to do overnight stays, where necessary
● Follow method statements accurately
● Ability to work within the specifications set out by HSG 274 & HTM 04-01
● You will be required to work out of hours and weekends occasionally as part of the job
● You will be expected to do some administrative duties which will include the use of a tablet and paperwork to log your work
● Reporting to Account Managers and Operations Department
● Stock Taking on Van stock and project work
● You will need to possess excellent communication skills to communicate with customers and colleagues
● Be able to work on your own also as part of a team

Desirable Competencies: -
Minimum of Plumbing NVQ 2 Qualification
Ability to undertake and run Project Work
Personal Qualities: -
● MUST hold a Full Driving License
● You must pass a CRB clearance.
● You will hold a Level 2 Plumbing Qualification
Training to be provided: -
● City and Guild Legionella Awareness Training
● G3 Vented & Unvented Systems
● Water Regulations
● EMSS Safety Passport
● In house Legionella/Water Hygiene training
Miscellaneous: -
● Company van will be provided with a fuel card.
● Expenses – Company Credit Card
● Holidays – 20 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays
● Pension – Auto enrolment following successful 3-month probation period.
● Overtime – Paid at standard rate for over 40 hours worked.

Salary: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
