Role: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Salary: £70,000 - £85,000
Location: London, Canary Wharf
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for an established engineering consultancy in London
Our client is a leading engineering and environmental consultancy operating in the UK and Irish markets. As a multi-disciplinary company, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of exciting and challenging projects. They are keen to bring in a Senior Mechanical engineer to help and assist the engineering team and enable them to produce at a high quality and standard from concept to completion for a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop equipment specifications, performance requirements, cost analyses, and proposals for integrating machinery and equipment into manufacturing processes.
- Identify and analyze production issues regarding process and tooling and provide efficient and timely solutions.
- Take responsibility for the implementation of lean manufacturing tools and processes.
- Provide assembly support in technical matters relating to assembly drawings, interpretation, engineering change notices, and rework manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with new product teams to bring products to the market in a timely manner while assuring quality and manufacturability of process and product.
- Create Solidworks 3D- and 2D-model drawings for tools and production parts.
Requirements:
- Degree in mechanical engineering/Building Services with a strong Design Engineering background.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in a relevant background.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit MEP.
- Experience in the Design of Mechanical Services.
- Strong interpersonal skills, written and communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects.
- Full driver’s license and car.
