Job description
Key Role:
Apply engineering physics, engineering mathematics, and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture, or maintenance of mechanical systems. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with troubleshooting and heat transfer
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and thermodynamics
- Ability to read, draw, and comprehend schematics, assembly drawings, and technical manuals
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment, including oscilloscopes, voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, or frequency generator
- Ability to work as a team or individually
- Ability to communicate findings and solutions
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with US Air Force aircraft or test systems
- Experience with AMAC systems
- Experience as a technician
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Ability to follow established safety practices and requirements
- Ability to work outside of the box
- Top Secret clearance
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualâs particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allenâs total compensation package for employees.Work Model
