Mechanical Assembler/ Fitter

Our client based in the Coventry area is looking to add a skilled Mechanical Assembler/ Fitter to their team due growth and within their company. Our client provides a Niche product to their customer base and has a growing customer base worldwide. Due to huge growth within the business there is unlimited overtime, this is a great time to join. This is a permanent opportunity and training can be given but ideally will have experience with Mechanical Fitting and or Assembly.

Mechanical Assembler/ Fitter Daily Duties

• Mechanically Fitting/ Assembling Engineering parts
• Working to engineering drawings
• Using a variety of hand tools
• Self-inspect parts produced
• Ability to work to defined schedule
• Work to planned times
• Maintain a safe and tidy environment in the work area
• Work to all company Health and Safety policies and procedures

Mechanical Assembler/ Fitter Skillset Required

• Able to interpret drawings and specifications
• Able to use various tools
• Mechanical assembly and fitting experience
• Attention to quality
• Able to work well within a team environment and to offer improvement ideas
• Flexibility to undertake other tasks in other areas

Mechanical Assembler/ Fitter Pay and Hours

• Days based Monday to Friday
• 07:30am-4:15pm Early finish friday
• Starting rate- £13.00 per hour
• Unlimited Overtime paid at a premium
• Training/ Progression opportunities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £13.00 per hour
