Currently looking for Meat Packers to join their team to work in Spenborough Abattoir LiversedgeWork duties will include: Identifying cuts of meat Packing correct meat into correct packaging Using Vacpac machine to secure and pack meat Moving boxes of 20 - 25 kgYou will be working in a cold environment (from 7 to -12°c), and will be required to wear the correct PPE at all times: Wellies Overall Hair Net Gloves Beard Snood (if applicable)This is a fast paced and busy environment, so people will need to be aware of the surroundings at all times.Hours of work will be: 05.00 - 15.30 or16.30 Monday to Friday with 2 x 30 minute breaks Hours may vary with business levels, so must be flexibleBenefits & Requirements:Hourly rate as aboveCanteenOn -site car parkPossible permanent position following a successful trial periodAll vacancies are available and correct at the time of posting.
