Job description

Step teachers are a large educational recruitment agency working with primary schools across East Anglia. We are exceptionally busy placing day-to-day, long-term, and permanent teachers into schools and academies and are looking for more supply teachers to join our team.

As a successful agency operating and placing supply teachers into schools since 2000, we have established long-standing relationships with schools, academies, and MATs across Suffolk

We are currently looking for a Maths Teacher based in Norwich to work in an Ofsted-rated 'Good' local academy 4 days a week. The students are respectful and the staff show care towards the students learning.

Role:

  • Strong Maths curriculum knowledge

  • Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed

  • Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

  • Ability to assess and report on your students when required

  • Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for long-term supply roles

  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or the equivalent of

  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching Maths

  • A relevant subject-specific degree is desirable
