About Us

TeachAllAboutIt is an Ofsted registered tuition centre based in West Worthing offering in-person and online 1-2-1 & group tuition.

We are currently seeking specialist English, Maths & Computing tutors to support students from age 10 to 16 (and ideally A Level) with study skills, exam preparation, and assisting with our distance learning courses. We work with both independent and employed tutors who work closely with their students to promote independent learning as well as empowering the student to manage their own timetable, especially nearing exams.

Tutors who work with us are supported in preparing lessons and we are looking for tutors who are able to working from both our purpose built tuition centre and remotely.

Our ethos is one of supporting all students regardless of ability or accessibility needs in an environment where they want to attend and learn through compassionate tuition.

Key Duties

· Supporting students 1-2-1 and in small groups with KS2 to KS4

· Supporting students to prepare for exams (mock & full)

· Encouraging students to work independently and analyse their own work

· Planning & running lessons that assist individual students to make the best possible progress

· Providing feedback to parents in both written and verbal format

Requirements
The successful applicant will:

· Have experience of teaching or tuition with ages 10 - 16

· Have experience of teaching or tuition with home educated students (preferred)

· Have a detailed understanding of the current exam system

· Willing to deliver support for distance learners & work with online learning

· An awareness of and the ability to support students with SEN

· Availability by negotiation

Essential Qualifications:
The successful applicant must have:

· Holds a degree (or equivalent)

· Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification

· Is eligible to work in the UK

· A current enhanced DBS check (this may be obtained as part of the application process)

Salary: £15.00-£45.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All tutors receive training in offering online tuition to enable them to continue to support students remotely should the need occur.

Education:

  • Bachelor's (required)

Experience:

  • teaching: 1 year (preferred)
  • tutoring: 1 year (required)
