Tuition Tree is a private tutoring company based in Edgbaston, Birmingham. We have helped students all over the Midlands including Birmingham as well as students in London pass their 11 Plus exams for successful admission into grammar schools since the early 2010s.

Tuition Tree offers students between Years 1 to 13 a range of private tuition services in English,

Mathematics and Science. This includes both classes and private 1-1 sessions that cover all topics outlined in the latest National Curriculum, as well as special revision classes tailored to prepare students for their forthcoming exams which include:

  • KS2 end-of-year assessments (previously SATs)
  • 11 Plus (GL and CEM style)
  • GCSEs

With a strong academic background and prior teaching experience, you will approach your role with enthusiasm and a deep commitment to helping students succeed. Your confidence and passion for education will shine as you support and guide children in their learning journey.

The role
As a tutor at Tuition Tree, you will be teaching small groups of students in a structured manner with the aid of cutting-edge technology at our facility.

While experience using 11 Plus learning platforms is preferred, it is not mandatory. You will receive full training on our learning platforms for 11 Plus Maths and English.

This is an immediate start role, and we are offering generous remuneration packages for the right candidate.

The salary being offered ranges between £25 to £50 per hour. A higher salary beyond the stated range will be considered for candidates with comprehensive tutoring/teaching experience and the right experience.

We have salaried positions available inclusive of holiday pay and additional entitlements.

The schedule and days of your lessons will be flexible and tailored to fit your schedule. However, weekend availability is mandatory for this role.

Teaching sessions are scheduled between the following times:

Monday to Friday: 6pm to 8pm

Saturday & Sunday: 10am to 3:30pm
