Satis Education are recruiting! We are recruiting for a passionate and committed Curriculum Leader for Maths, for our client school in Greater Manchester. The role is Temporary to Permanent and is to commence in September 2023.
The Academy is led by an inspiring Principal who is on mission to ensure that the Academy achieves high standards of teaching and learning. The Senior Leadership Team create a can-do culture and lead by example. Students are given access to an inclusive and exciting curriculum. Community is very important, and parents and carers are very much included and involved in ensuring the best possible outcomes for students. Students are provided with excellent enrichment opportunities.
We are looking to appoint a creative, enthusiastic and inspiring Curriculum Leader for Maths to lead this important area of our curriculum from September. The successful candidate will have the ambition and innovation to manage and develop Key Stage 3 & 4 Maths.
We are looking for someone with the following qualities:
- Has a strong knowledge of Maths pedagogy, curriculum at all key stages.
- To have a proven track-record in raising attainment and improving progress
- Can review and develop a well sequenced, innovative and intelligently designed curriculum and resources in Maths, ensuring that highly effective approaches to teaching and assessment are explicit within this planning and modelled to colleagues.
- To be committed to your own professional development and be highly skilled in delivering effective PD and conducting meaningful QA.
- Has had demonstrable success in achieving strong progress with students in Maths, including those with SEND needs or are Disadvantaged.
- Has excellent, well-developed interpersonal skills and the importance of being able to work collaboratively across a range of schools.
- Has a strong commitment to inclusion, diversity and equality.
