Job Advertisement: Mathematics Teacher

We are part of a respected multi-academy trust committed to providing exceptional education to students aged 11-18. This is a full-time position with a competitive daily rate of £150-£210.
Role Overview:As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students, fostering a passion for mathematics and supporting their academic development. You will have the opportunity to teach a wide range of abilities and promote a positive learning environment, ensuring all students reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons that cater to the needs of diverse learners.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to actively participate and excel.
- Employ a variety of teaching strategies and resources to facilitate effective learning and understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students, assessing their progress and implementing appropriate interventions when necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of the mathematics department.
- Participate in staff meetings, parents' evenings, and school events as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level is highly desirable, although newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Dedication to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
