About MathSeed

MathSeed offers after school math enrichment classes for 1st - 12th grade students in Fremont Mission & Ardenwood, Union City, and Cupertino areas. We also provide math competition training. Our teams win gold medals and exceptional awards in national math competitions. We are hiring 2022-2023 school year teachers.

Job Description

• Teach small group in-person and online classes with students of the same level in each class
• Class materials and lesson plans will be provided
• Maintain records on each student’s progress in the class
• Address questions from parents to ensure their needs are met
• Communicate students' needs to the center director
• Flexible working hours on weekday afternoons or weekends of your choice
• Teach minimum 1.5 hours or more weekly
• Training provided

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math or related field
• Teaching Credential is a plus
• Passion for teaching young children
• Excellent communication & multi-tasking skills
• Classroom management experience preferred
• Experience using Google Meet
• Minimum 1 school year commitment (Sept to mid-June)
• Must be legal to work in the USA
