About the role and our team
Join our friendly, hardworking team as a Maternity Assistant within Manx Care at Noble’s Hospital!
As a Maternity Assistant you will be required to assist the Registered Midwife / Practitioner to provide high standards of care to women and babies who use our service. This will include activities such as, assistance with dietary and nutritional needs, personal and oral hygiene, moving and handling, monitoring and recording of basic observations.
In order to succeed in this role, you must be able to communicate accurately and concisely to patients, family members and all members of the multi-professional team. We are looking for someone who is friendly, approachable and able to work with others in a team to ensure all patients receive high quality, individually planned care.
