Job description

We are looking for someone to join our team in Billericay as a Laboratory Technician - Entry Level. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to earn as they learn.

There is a great opportunity to progress, with 6 monthly review's with your line manager, you will be measured against expected competencies and will be promoted if you meet them along with a salary increase.

We have a great in-house team that will ensure you have all the training you need, so no experience of Materials Testing is necessary.

As a Laboratory Technician - Entry Level, you will be happy to follow strict protocols and processes, embrace health and safety, as well as ensure all paperwork is accurate and completed on time for the client.

It may be cliché, but we guarantee that no two days are the same in this role, so if you like variety this could be the perfect role for you.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • To produce test results in accordance with the documented procedures, standards and specifications.
  • To ensure testing/sampling activities are maintained in compliance with UKAS and Company requirements.
  • To ensure that the laboratory working areas are safe, clean and tidy environments in which to work.
  • To commit to ensuring the confidentiality of all customer information obtained or created during the performance of laboratory activities, except as required by law

Skills required


With the high level of accuracy that is required in the role, we are looking for someone that has great mathematical and literacy skills and exceptional attention to detail.

We want someone that works great within a team but can also work solo as the job is a great mixture of both.

Mon - Fri 42.5 Hours a week
Salary: £21,547.50
