Summary:
Reporting to our Peri Op Inventory Manager, the individual will manage all aspects of materials needs at the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). Manage par stock inventory locations and main stocking locations. Work to maintain cooperative relationship with Corporate Purchasing Team to ensure a proper flow of supplies. Will manage service agreement PO process, Consignment agreements and new technology requests. Work closely with PeriOp Clinical Team to understand their needs.
Responsibilities:
Works independently to complete all assigned tasks and duties within the established departmental guidelines. Understand Hospital Environment Of Care criteria, Tissue handling processes and Item Life Cycle management process.- Oversee Vendor Visitation Process at the ASC.
- Participate in the Value Analysis and New Technology Process at Pennsylvania Hospital.
- Insure adequate supplies are available for our clinicians at all times. Evaluates current inventory levels and calculate pars.
- Manage all Vendor Performance Including compliance With All Pennsylvania Hospital policies and procedures. Manage inventory as per Penn Medicine policies and procedures.
- Awareness of supply contracts and off contract requirements.
- Work in conjunction with Corporate Purchasing and all other Penn Medicine Facilities.
- Performs all duties in accordance With Penn Medicine and Entity Values, Policies, and Procedures.
- Receive and coordinate supply storage, manage RNI report.
- Provide oversight for inventory accuracy and ensure bottle necks are identified and report them to management.
- Forecast planning for facility.
Credentials:
Education or Equivalent Experience:
Associate of Arts or Science Or 3+ years progressive materials experience required.- A valid driver's license required.
