Job description

To assist the Materials Management Supervisor in the delivery and implementation of Procurement and Supply Chain related services throughout our ATC Theatre areas by ensuring that an efficient and effective materials management service is provided to customers within the Trust, whilst promoting the benefits and services of the Procurement and Supply Chain department. This will include the ordering, receipting, chasing out of stocks, contacting suppliers and putting away of all goods that arerequired by customers and providing an essential interface between the Procurement and Supply Chain staff and the department clinical staff. Hours to be agreed.

1. Process accurate and timely inputof stock requisitions in compliance with Trust SFIs, SFP and Standing Orders

1. Monitor availability of stock,delivery times and dates, taking remedial action as necessary by providing an efficient operation of the materials management functions and associated activities

3 .Process and monitoruplifts/returns and ensure credits are processed via prompt and efficient responses to meet end user needs

1. Process requestsfor ad-hoc items

1. Respond to catalogue queriesfrom customers relating to product details and availability by effective communication and the appreciation of a high quality professional service.

6 .Maintain accurate recordswith up to date information and easily accessible information.
