Job description
A groundbreaking research organisation require Material Science Graduates to assist in the research of new material joining technologies such as MIAF, MIG and arc welding and bonding for use in the aerospace, clothing and oil & gas industries. You should have a good degree or PhD in Materials Science or Metallurgy, with a knowledge of metals, plastics, ceramics and composites, together with mechanical testing techniques such as NDT, or Spectroscopy. A knowledge of laser cutting would be advantageous.
