Warehouse Material Hander

Derry/Londonderry

42 per week working on a 24/7 shift pattern 07:00 - 19:00 & 19:00 - 07:00 2 weeks of night shift and 2 weeks of day shift, working 7 shifts over the 2-week period.

The successful candidate will ensure that materials are moved to and from production lines and production output locations in a safe, timely and accurate manner. Ensuring all materials are located safely and accurately in the warehouse storage locations and that stock accuracy is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that safe working practices are always adhered to, including wearing PPE as appropriate.
• Acquire knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, work instructions, and associated documentation.
• Comply with all Health & Safety Policies and instructions and actively contribute to Company efforts to promote safe behavior and safe systems of work.
• Able to work various rotational shift patterns when required. This role will operate on a 24/7 basis.
• Pick required materials from warehouse or production output locations as per machine staging report.
• Remove surplus and semi-finished materials from production staging locations and safely locate in warehouse locations.
• Remove Finished Goods from production output locations as required and move to warehouse shipping area. a.
• Maintain housekeeping to required standard.

Essential Criteria:

• Academic qualification in English and Mathematics or equivalent
• 2 years' experience in a warehousing role preferably in a Manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with limited supervisior

Desirable:

• A valid current fork truck reach and/or counterbalance license (in-house refresher can be provided)
