The company
The inhouse building and construction team of the Heveningham Hall Estate, encompassing Sibton Park Estate and Wilderness Reserve, a collection of exclusive-use country houses, luxury holiday cottages, and off-grid boltholes spread over a privately owned 8000 acre country estate. Wilderness Reserve is a long-term conservation and restoration project - protecting English nature and breathing new life into historic properties. It is unlike anything or any place you’ve ever been before
The job
You'll be part of a team of tradesmen and general builders, completing a variety of high-end property development projects, from small-scale refurbishments to multi-million pound developments and new builds. You will be on of a handful of 'Senior Bricklayers' tasked with intricate and decorative brickwork including twists and arches.
What you'll need
Highly experienced bricklayer on residential building projects between £100k-£5m
Demonstrable experience of building twists, arches, and other decorative brickwork
Pride in your work
You must be a real team player with a willingness to muck in
A Full UK driving licence and your own transport
Where you'll be based
The estate spans 8000 acres, from Heveningham to Sibton to Yoxford. You'll be expected to have your own transport to get to the estate each day.
What you'll receive
- £200 per day
- Full time work on subcontract basis with minimum of 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, 2x 30 minute breaks)
- Overtime available including weekends
- Stunning working location in the Suffolk countryside
