As one of the country’s leading marquee and temporary structure suppliers, we are continuing to expand and are looking for marquee erectors with or without previous experience as on the job training will be given. We specialise in the corporate sector but also provide wedding marquees for high end clientele.

A positive attitude and willingness to work outside in all weathers is required.

Due to the location of our head office just outside York, a driving licence with your own transport is essential as we start early in the morning and are off the public transport route.

We cover the entire UK but most of our work is from Newcastle down to the Midlands, so you are generally home each day.

Duties to include:

• Assist team of erectors in the actual erecting of marquees whilst ensuring the general safety of employees and members of public in accordance with current health and safety legislation.
• Ensure that the clients receive courteous, sound advice, ultimately leading to the client being completely satisfied.

• Be responsible for the welfare and maintenance of all marquee equipment and sub-contracted or associated equipment.
• Be responsible for checking loading/job sheets and ensuring all equipment required for contract is loaded.
• Be responsible for the correct, safe and efficient loading of vehicles.

• Be responsible for general yard safety and organisation.

• Be responsible for checking vehicles and the logging of all relevant check lists/documents.
• Ensure all electrical appliances, cables and connections are correctly used, stored and maintained in accordance with legislation. All Documents to be logged for inspection.

• Agree to undertake any duties as deemed suitable and reasonable by senior management.

Experience:

• marquee: 1 year (preferred)
