ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic marketing trainee to assist our marketing team. You will be reporting directly to the marketing manager and assisting with all related tasks. You will be required to perform administrative tasks, assist with social media, help oversee all company websites, aid us with our CRM system, and foster strong relationships with our clients/customers.
To ensure success as a marketing trainee, you should have some general experience with social media, excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work to strict deadlines. Ultimately, a valuable assistant to the marketing team who helps boosts the company image.
You will be working on site in a friendly family business at our recently modernised East Kilbride factory with the full marketing and sales team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supporting the Marketing Co-ordinator with online content for the company’s social media page and website.
- Updating databases, spreadsheets, and inventory lists.
- Building strong relationships with customers.
- Supporting the marketing manager with project organisation.
- Performing administrative tasks to ensure the functionality of marketing activities.
- Aiding with the company CRM system.
ABOUT YOU
- HND qualification in marketing, business or related field.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of office management.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently on projects.
- Someone who is keen to learn, ask questions and wants to be involved – bright and inquisitive with a hunger for learning
- Good problem solver – can connect the dots between elements and derive a conclusion
