Description
As a result of continued success Lockton Re is currently looking for a Marketing Team Assistant to join this dynamic in-house team. You will be proactive in bringing a range of skills and fresh ideas to the Marketing function, and will learn about all aspects of Marketing with hands-on experience and responsibility. While the main focus, is on the Marketing team this role may support other teams and areas of Lockton Re as well.
This diverse role will include supporting the team on marketing campaigns, client communications, working on website content / corporate social media and assisting in planning and executing events, managing all branded items and being an interface with different parts of Lockton Re and Lockton as well as outside suppliers.
This role is based in our London office (Liverpool Street/Aldgate), with opportunity to work with the global marketing team and colleagues overseas.

Key Responsibilities:
- Tracking the workflow for the team as whole and helping with the management of marketing planning and priorities.
- Supporting event organisation both internally and externally as well as the associated communications and materials. Monitoring responses, helping send and track invites/responses, catering orders, set up, break down and management of stands/banners/furniture etc
- This person would take on the responsibility for managing branded gifts and materials in the International Business. Tracking stock and working with outside suppliers on the new products.
- Responding to enquiries from internal stakeholders and business partners and ensuring they are informed of progress on their jobs
- Supporting the team to implement social media strategy and internal comms priorities
- Email marketing platform assistance – working in salesforce and Pardot to assist in campaigns and event management.
- Reporting - assistance in analysing, tabulating and summarising results of digital campaigns, thought leadership and search optimization
- Data work - to support business cases, strategy and budgets, including spreadsheets, pivot tables, charts
- Desk and customer research - competitor research, MI and customer insight (including social listening and organising focus groups/surveys) as directed
- Supplier research and vetting - help to source and maintain relations with preferred suppliers for printing, event supply and branded materials. Generate ideas for improvement
- Project management - keep track of marketing work under way and help ensure timely delivery
Candidate Profile
Essential
- Good oral and written communication skills with commitment to quality, and attention to detail
- Previous experience in a corporate environment - ideally gained within a fast-paced environment in professional or financial services, or busy agency with B2B clients
- Well-organised with the ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines under pressure
- Confident using Microsoft Office Suite
- Friendly, helpful manner - this role is client-facing and involves keeping our internal clients updated on the progress of their jobs and projects
Desirable, not essential
- Experience around event organisation and support
- A marketing qualification
- Exposure to content management systems, marketing automation software and/or Adobe Suite
