The Sussex Exchange are looking for a creative and strategic Marketing and Social Media Assistant. The Marketing and Social Media Assistant is responsible for brainstorming campaigns, creating social media posts and analysing analytics.
To be successful as a Marketing and Social Media Creator, you must have excellent time management skills. A good Marketing and Social Media Creator is eager to keep abreast of industry innovations and new software.
Marketing and Social Media Creator Responsibilities:
Work under the direction of the Director | General Manager to help reach the company's marketing goals and objectives.
- Brainstorm campaigns.
- Create unique social media posts and create a schedule to match.
- Use analytics tools to gauge the success of campaigns.
- Research industry innovations and tools.
- Update posts to include relevant keywords for search engine optimisation.
- Prepare reports on campaigns based on analytics.
- Assists in creating promotional materials, including brochures, blogs, marketing copy, etc.
- Provides fact-checking, copy-editing and formatting assistance during the creation of mailers, coupons, website content, and other promotional materials.
- Helps maintain social media accounts for brands, products or services.
Social Media Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of all social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok and YouTube.
- Analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn about new innovations and software.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Prior experience in marketing or social media.
Contracted to zero hours per week, to be flexible in line with business operations. Monday to Friday, starting at 9:00am and finishing at 5:30pm, with the occasional Friday | Saturday night dependent on business operations for social media content.
Successful appointments are subject to satisfactory references and original identification documents being provided to prove eligibility to legally work within the UK.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25-45 per week
Salary: £10.00-£13.50 per hour
