Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts Ltd is a privately owned main contractor with six operating divisions; Construction, Retail, Fit Out, Small Works, Maintenance and Manufactured Joinery. We employ over 220 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.
We are recruiting for a Marketing and Proposals Assistant to join our fast-paced Marketing and Business Development department.
Role & Responsibilities
Preparing responses to PQQ/SPD and tender submissions in line with client deadlines
Working with other departments to source required information for company submissions and marketing materials.
Producing and maintaining supporting marketing materials including; presentations, organisational charts, CV’s and case studies.
Using online tendering portals, identifying any potential opportunities and assessing their suitability
Supporting the renewal of company accreditations
Any other activity required to support the Business Development and Marketing team.
Candidate
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following skills and qualities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to prioritise and manage workload.
· Excellent attention to detail
· Strong multi-tasking ability.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Knowledge of construction industry (preferable)
This role is ideally suited to a recent graduate in a business related subject. This is a full time, permanent position and it will be based at our head office in Paisley.
