Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss hospitality in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group's hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of six luxury ships (currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travellers. An exciting opportunity exists for a talented Marketing & PR Professional to join our newly created luxury travel brand Explora Journeys and to lead the delivery and executions of omni-channel marketing & PR activities in the UK and Ireland, based in our offices in England.

Requirements and skills include;

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar Marketing\/Brand\/PR Role preferably in the Luxury or Luxury Hospitality\/Travel Industry

Knowledge of the codes of luxury and bring an extensive media network within the luxury and preferably the travel industry (as well as previous media training)

Proven track record of organizing luxury events

Can lead the execution and amplification of omni channels marketing & PR campaigns

Can set yourself apart through your personal accountability to deliver with excellence.

Be structured, well organized and know how to navigate in a matrix organisation

The ability to travel up to 20% of the time mostly nationally occasionally internationally.

PR:

  • Responsible for developing the annual communications strategy and execution, with a special focus on increasing end consumer awareness.
  • Organize key industry or brand events (virtual and\/or live) within the local market
  • Help identify, select and manage the relevant agency partners
  • Identify and negotiate contracts with local brand ambassadors in line with the global team
  • Hold key relationships to trade and lifestyle media in the local market
  • Propose local partnership ideas to drive brand awareness and value
  • Work on local adaptation of PR & Communications Tool Kits incl. all materials within given deadlines (press releases, press kits, quotes, talking points, presentation, scripts and picture\/video materials) and prepare & create PR tool kits for local activations\/projects
  • Manage the media reporting for Explora Journeys and competitor brands
Marketing:
  • Lead the delivery, adaptations and amplification of corporate marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate the adaptation and delivery of key B2C and B2B2C assets across the region
  • Be the local guardian of the brand equity and ensure perfect brand executions across all channels
  • Be the point of reference for the global marketing team and proactively provide feedback to ensure future materials are fit for purpose in UK&I
  • Ensure gathering of consumer insights, benchmark analysis and trends to be shared with global marketing team on regular base
  • Own the Marketing& Communications budget, including agency\/vendor management
