About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the marketing team for ARU Peterborough, the UK’s newest university which opened in September 2022.
We’re looking to recruit an outstanding marketing professional with the skills and know how to raise ARU Peterborough’s profile amongst prospective students in the city and region and to deliver on the marketing strategy. You will have the skills and experience to be able to deliver compelling marketing messages and brand interactions that attract prospects to our range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses and Degree Apprenticeships.
Reporting to the Marketing and Recruitment Manager, and working closely as a team, the role of Marketing Officer (Conversion) focuses on activity to convert leads and enquiries to applicants; thereafter convert those applicants to acceptances and then to enrolments, as well as undergraduate to postgraduate progression and student retention activity. You will work side-by-side with the Marketing Officer (Acquisition) and Event Officer, ensuring the delivery of a seamless brand experience and compelling narrative. This role includes working closely with our academics, leadership, CRM and Social Media teams to deliver impactful nurturing campaigns, producing content and collateral for a range of channels and platforms, and coordinating student ambassador generated content.
You will have a passion for marketing and be committed to delivering stand out conversion activity to ensure robust recruitment to the university’s exciting range of courses. This is a key role for the university, and you will be at the heart of implementing the ARU Peterborough marketing strategy as part of a dynamic team.
With a degree in the area of business, marketing, advertising and branding or closely related relevant subject or equivalent professional experience, we are also looking for a candidate who has excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
