The role will be varied, working across a range of marketing campaigns and communications channels. One day you may be creating new Google ad campaigns and updating website content, the next you will be helping to create outbound lead generation activity.
Subject to performance, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to gradually take on more responsibility, with potential to assume ownership of marketing and campaigns for selected brands within the BDRC Group.
Responsibilities may include:
- Helping to administer the company’s CRM (customer relationship management) platform
- Email building, campaign management and reporting
- Lead generation
- Website management / updates
- SEO and web analytics
- Google Ads
- Editing / drafting copy for blogs, PR, case studies, marketing collateral, reports and social media
- Helping to set-up / run webinars and events
What will you bring to the table?
- A university degree/qualification in a relevant subject, such as media, marketing, PR, business etc.
- Experience in a B2B marketing role with an emphasis on digital or growth marketing.
- Experience in platforms / tools such as Hubspot or other CRM, lead generation and email marketing solutions.
- Excellent, fluent, written and spoken English (fluency in other languages is a bonus but not a requirement).
- An ability to collaborate with colleagues, take constructive feedback and integrate into plans / drafts.
- Good time management and experience successfully juggling competing priorities, managing short deadlines or fast turnaround work.
- A ‘can do attitude’, willingness to get stuck in and passion for effective marketing communications – whether creating leads lists, seeking out suitable gifts for client goodie bags or setting-up outbound emails in Hubspot.
- Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel & PowerPoint).
Please note that familiarity with the market research industry, customer experience, behavioural science or other types of consulting are not a requirement but would be considered an advantage.
The following competencies and qualities are also highly valued within the agency:

- Communication: clear, concise, and proactive verbal and written communication.
- Relationships: good interpersonal skills that will facilitate strong working relationships at all levels.

What is it like working at BVA BDRC?
BVA BDRC is an equal opportunities employer and a meritocracy: individuals can progress rapidly depending on performance, initiative and commitment. We focus on bringing people up through the business; many of our senior staff started with us at middle or junior levels.
We are a sociable company and place great emphasis upon teamwork and collaboration.
- We strongly believe that ‘two heads are better than one’ (if not three or four on occasion!), particularly when dealing with challenging work.
- Our social committee organises regular events throughout the year including the Christmas party, an annual summer day out (these have previously included treasure hunts around the Tower of London, team cooking challenges, Go Ape in Battersea Park, white water rafting at the Olympic facility at Lee Valley). There is something for everyone.
- Our CSR committee organises regular fund-raising initiatives, such as a pancake flipping context in aid of
Turkey/Syria, cake sale for Grenfell Tower, a Children in Need ‘bikeathon challenge’ (seeing which team could cycle the farthest on an exercise bike in a set time), decorating a local homeless shelter at Christmas - and more.
- We are working towards B Corp certification. This is for businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.
