Salary: £28,000 (Depending on Experience)

In this role you will be required to attend our Southampton office for Team Meetings once a month.

Office or on a hybrid basis (once probation is complete).

Our Marketing Executives are responsible for enabling the promotion of the business both externally and internally, supporting the growth of the business across all target markets.

Key Role Accountabilities:

This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.

  • Create and deliver Towergate Health & Protection’s programme of customer webinars, including coordinating the speakers, producing the slides and script
  • Act as brand ambassador for the company to ensure all communications conform to brand guidelines
  • Manage co-ordination and sign-off of own marketing output
  • Provide ongoing measurement and evaluation of activities and campaigns, as required
  • Create and deliver marketing support and sales enablement/fulfilment materials to Distribution teams and channels as required
  • Create and deliver support output for event programmes and associated marketing campaigns, such as trade shows, events, conferences, communication programmes, direct mail and digital initiatives, collateral, and promotions, as required
  • Effectively manage third party suppliers
  • Ensure adherence to the principles of Treating Customers Fairly. Escalate any TCF issues that arise and assess TCF awareness in the team and action/escalate any issues identified
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the products and services distributed by the business
  • Attend relevant training to ensure market knowledge levels are kept up to date
  • Assist with the group’s online presence, including responsibility for page creation and site management as required
  • Work closely with the E-business manager to deliver improvements and developments to our digital assets, with a focus on improving design, usability and conversion
  • Maintain materials stored on in-house online sales communication portals as well as issuing regular communications to staff and customers when required
  • Liaise with internal IT and compliance to ensure that all online developments are compliant with the required standard
  • Manage the creation of new HTML email templates and work closely with our Copywriter and Sheffield lead generation office on production of engaging email promotion to our prospect and client database

What we are looking for in a Marketing Executive:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience of provider relationship management
  • Professional client focussed approach
  • Analytical with good judgement
  • Successful management of internal and external relationships

Person Specification:

  • Experience within the financial services / general insurance market preferred
  • Degree in business, finance and/or marketing preferred
  • Experience of using InDesign preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven marketing communications experience
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure communications are accurate, relevant and without errors
  • Well organised, can respond well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a changing market
  • Used to multi-tasking
