Job description
SALES AND MARKETING EXECUTIVE ROLE
WHO WE ARE
The Young Actors Group was founded in 2014 and over the past decade has built a wide network of after school drama clubs in the South East.
We have now built an amazing franchise opportunity and are looking to take things to the next level by brining on board an experienced sales and marketing executive.
We are confident that our franchise model offers something amazing for the owners, placing them at the heart of what we do with everything they need to launch and thrive in a popular and diverse sector.
Our vision is to become the go-to drama only group to rival the size and scale of acting, singing and dancing groups like Stagecoach.
If you’re passionate about seeing young people develop through well run creative arts subjects and understand how to market for a term time and holiday clubs’ business, then please take a look at what we’re offering.
YOUR ROLE
Above all else, we’re looking for a hard working, hands on marketing guru to do the day to day as well as help strategise for the future. Someone who can take ownership of the marketing and franchise side of our business. We hate micro-managing but at the same time want to see you grow in this business. Our dream is that it grows and we grow to the point where we offer you a full time position.
- Marketing our current groups
- Exploring and researching marketing opportunities online and local
- Engaging with current client base and building peer-to-peer marketing
- Building and maintaining current relationships with schools
- Managing social media, including paid advertising and post scheduling.
- Increasing lead generation through our website and social media pages
- Marketing and selling our franchise model
WHAT YOU GET
SALARY
You will start on 1 day a week (8 hours) and your salary will be pro-rata based on a full-time wage of £26,000 – £30,000 a year, depending on experience. So, for example, your take home per month will be between £430.00 and £500.00 based on working 1 day a week.
FLEXIBILITY
You will need to work fully remotely with occasional visits to classes and workshops. We are looking to someone that can commit to 6 hours of work one day a week and then 2 hours flexible for the rest of the week to make any last minute changes or schedule posts.
HOLIDAY
You’ll get 48 hours of holiday a year – this can be taken as a week (8 hours), so works out at 6 weeks per year.
CORE TEAM
We are a very small team and you’d be coming in as a core member, leading in your field. We want someone who is happy in that environment, able to use their own initiative and grow as the company grows.
