Salary: £28,488
Location: Felsted, Essex
We have an exciting opportunity available for you to join our growing team as a Marketing Executive on a full-time, permanent basis. You will enjoy a mixture of working from our beautiful office in Felsted as well as from home (hybrid working). About the role:
As Local Hospice Lottery’s Marketing Executive, you will form an important part of the Company’s Marketing Team - assisting with the development, delivery and analysis of a schedule of marketing activity which aims to grow lottery membership and ultimately increase income for our numerous hospice partners.
Consistently creating high quality, engaging copy for a wide range of B2B and B2C communications (both online and offline) will form a fundamental part of this role, alongside proof reading and editing. As such, strong copywriting skills and excellent attention to detail are a must. The successful candidate will also need to be a real team player, alongside having the ability to work independently and meet multiple deadlines.
What we are looking for in our ideal Marketing Executive
- Educated to A level, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing or Journalism OR demonstratable equivalent experience
- Professional copywriting and editing experience, with a solid portfolio of work – A copywriting diploma or course certificate is desirable.
- Experience in managing marketing campaigns
- Ability to create engaging and informative content
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills and multitasking ability
- Demonstratable experience in receiving and providing briefs
- Experience in managing costs to deliver campaigns within budgets
- Analytical and able to provide reports
- Ability to meet deadlines working independently and within a team
- A high level of IT skills including Microsoft Office packages
- Experience in writing Press releases and award applications
- Ability to use online survey software, such as SmartSurvey
- Own transport is essential for this role – As part of your job role, you will be required to travel to meet with hospice partners.
